Caster Semenya has been invited to be the keynote speaker at Harvard's Women in Power conference this weekend. Thanks to this interview from last year, I had a better understanding of the unique circumstances surrounding CS. Definiely worth a (re)listen and then let Harvard know that they need to uninvite a man from what is righty a woman's honor.

I’m touched by the suggestion that Harvard would reconsider its mistake and reverse course because of my conversation with Sarah. It’s a beautiful image! Thank you. 🙏

Well, I have no delusions about what Harvard will do with our letters. But I did reach out to Sarah and she wrote an amazing letter that is being sent to over 39,000 signatories of Women's Declaration International. Just letting you know that this interview had a positive impact, even if Harvard doesn't so the right thing.

It starts so early. (I'm a woman married to a woman. I want the T and everything after it REMOVED from the LGB. She is all in when it comes to everything and anything gender related.) My 9 yo son identifies as NB. His 12 yo sister has recently discovered the joys of playing soccer. She is on an all-girls team. WITH HER BROTHER because he is NB. Which, because he's only 9, isn't so bad *yet*. On the other hand, he is part of an all boys dance crew, despite being NB. So, the soccer team is coed and the dance crew is still all boys. But if I say that, it starts a tsunami of nonsense that I don't have the energy to listen to.

I don't envy your position. I would hope to help kids learn the importance of sex, the permanence of sex, and to love and respect their sexed bodies but easier said than done, especially in today's environment. All the best to you—that you are even aware of the inconsistencies and possible issues of trans ideology in relation to girls' sports is a big step in the right direction

Thanks. I am very aware of the many issues with trans ideology in relation to so many aspects of life in general. I mostly keep quiet about it with my family because they know where I stand and see any disagreement with their views as transphobic and antagonistic. I am here to help pick up the pieces when this ideology crashes, because it will. Thanks for your part in helping to shed light on the patriarchal and misogynistic aspects at play in the trans world.

Fabulous interview, thank you! It gripped me so much I listened straight through, blood began boiling about 10 minutes in and stayed there. The level of misogyny we live with is mind-boggling and totally unacceptable. Glad there are women coming together more and more to stop this unspeakable unfairness. ENOUGH!!!

This was very helpful as I am often left without specifics about males in female sports when the topic comes up. I would love to say I am shocked by what I learned - but I am sufficiently cynical about this insanity at this point that none of this was surprising.
