A very good interview. When "Dr Lewis" talked about grooming on social media and the use of algorithms -- knowing everything about someone -- to target them as victims of the "medico-industrial complex" (Jennifer Bilek vocabulary), I wondered (stupidly for the first time) if it really is this organised. And it would actually be much MORE surprising if it were not.
Great interview, thank you! Terrible to hear what’s happening in medical schools — relaxed entry requirements, focus on identity over science, etc. Frightening, reckless and preposterous.
My impression of his comment about the #MeToo movement was that movement dramatically brought to the surface the force and predominance of the patriarchy in our society. He went on to discuss his son’s desire to become a woman as his need to be “kind, gentle, and nurturing which many young men struggle with in our culture. I actually thought he was interesting and informative. His experience with his son echoed my own. I thought his medical perspective was informative, particularly when he tied it to the inadequacy and danger of the affirmative model of care.
Fantastic!

You’re welcome!
Thanks for sharing your perspective - I will continue to listen, after it.

“It started with the “Me Too” movement? This guy is a crackpot
Yes that wasn't too good as casual victim-blaming.
Like watching a Fox News commentator. So offensive.
