I agree we need to surface more parent stories. We should make it a project.

Children can no more "consent" to have their healthy breasts and genitalia removed or take puberty blockers than they can

"consent" to have sex with an adult.

Similarly, parents and doctors can no more approve such permanent mutilation simply because a minor child desires it than they can approve pedophilia.

Ultimately society will see the truth and ban the practice as we have banned female genital mutilation. Do people support that practice if the parents consent? I truly hope not

It is monstrous to believe otherwise and those who do will ultimately be held to account for their actions.

I would argue that teacher's unions have been actively promoting GI at least since 2005. This presentation at WDI Women's Declaration International after min 5 shows that:

"WHRC

Language shift 2005

The then President of the Canadian Teacher's Federation(CTF) stated in a Gay- Straight Student Alliance Handbook:

"History has shown that bisexual, gay, lesbian, trans-identified and two-spirited (BGLTT) persons have been among the minority groups who have been harshly treated because of their sexual orientation and gender identity."

Adopting a narrative of an invented 'history,' attaching the T and newly-minted two-spirit identity, Canada launches its reeducation program. https://youtu.be/zZJu-9McUng?si=8Rx0ybicHceHqMLv"

I highly doubt that Canadian unions were not following the American lead in promoting transgender ideology as our entire history shows.

Incredible interview!! Thank you, so many thank you and validation of ways I speak this truth and feel insane many times, this community of rational, reasonable people so important. I can find it hard to stay grounded, loving, graceful and Arienne you are a model for being firm and caring.

Amazing interview. Essential listening for school leaders/teachers and counselors. You should go on Gender A Wider Lens!

This was a fastinating interview but even more crucially important would be to hear about the desistance of her son. Would you do an interview about that for parents?
